NDIS Support at Home, in the Community and During Daily Life
Helen’s Disability & Daycare Service provides a range of practical supports designed around each participant’s everyday needs.
We Get to Know the Participant
We take time to understand the participant’s routines, goals, communication style, interests and support needs.
We Provide Practical Support
Support may include personal care, transport, household tasks, community access, daily routines and life skills.
We Help Build Confidence
Our goal is to help participants feel safe, included and more independent in everyday life.
Personal Care & Daily Living Support
Respectful support with daily personal activities, including showering, hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meal assistance and daily routines.
We provide this support with dignity, patience and care, helping each participant feel comfortable and supported.
Travel & Transport Assistance
Safe and reliable transport support to help participants attend appointments, therapy, shopping, education, work, social outings and community activities.
We help participants get where they need to go while encouraging confidence and independence.
Household Tasks
Practical help around the home, including cleaning, laundry, changing bed linen, meal preparation, grocery shopping and maintaining a safe, comfortable living environment.
Support is tailored to the participant’s home routine and daily needs.
Community Participation
Support to help participants get out into the community, enjoy activities, build confidence, develop friendships and stay socially connected.
This may include hobbies, outings, local events, recreational activities and supported community access.
Development of Life Skills
Support to build everyday skills that help participants feel more confident and independent.
This may include cooking, budgeting, communication, routines, decision-making, personal organisation, travel training and social skills.
Group & Centre-Based Activities
Inclusive activities that encourage social connection, learning, recreation, skill development and community involvement.
Activities are planned around participant interests, goals and support needs.
Shared Living Supports
Support for participants living in shared accommodation or supported living environments.
We can assist with daily routines, household responsibilities, independence, positive relationships and maintaining a safe and comfortable home.
Behaviour Support Plan Implementation
Where appropriate, Helen’s Disability & Daycare Service can support participants with approved Behaviour Support Plans.
Support is delivered respectfully and consistently, with a focus on safety, dignity, participant rights and working closely with families, support coordinators and behaviour support practitioners.

Finding the right support can feel overwhelming, especially when every participant has different needs.
Helen makes the process simple and personal. Tell us about the participant, their location, goals, routines, NDIS plan and the type of support needed.
From there, we will talk through whether Helen’s Disability & Daycare Service is the right fit.
Need NDIS Support at Home or in the Community?

How Support Starts
- You Enquire
Tell us about the participant, their age, location, support needs and the services you are looking for.
- We Listen
We take time to understand routines, goals, interests, communication style, behaviours, comfort levels and current supports.
- We Plan Support
If we are the right fit, we work with the participant, family and support network to plan safe, practical and person-centred care.
